Located just one mile from Higgins Lake, if swimming, boating, and SCUBA diving is calling your name you won't be disappointed. Even Jacques Cousteau believed it to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the world. Higgins Lake was also named one of the 15 most beautiful hidden gem lakes in the US on Fodor in 2021. Perhaps kayaking and river tubing is more your speed, within 5 minutes of the campground you can be standing on the banks of the Au Sable River. The adventures are endless...

The Higgins Lake Campground has been an independently-owned small business since 2007. Originally built in the 1960s, as an RV and Tent campground. We have grown to include lodges, cabins, and yurts over the last 15+ years. We take pride in providing a wholesome and welcoming community for all types of outdoor adventurers!
