All outside firewood is banned. Leave your firewood at home, and only buy from the campground what you will use at the campground. Please help us maintain our natural beauty! Without healthy trees, it wouldn't be camping. Certified Kiln-Dry firewood can be purchased at the camp store and during the reservation process for $8/bundle.
Park Access is limited to registered guests only. Access to the park begins at 3pm on check-in day only after all payments have been made and ends at 12pm for RV and tent sites and 11am for cabins, lodges, and yurts on check-out day. We offer early check in and late check out options during the reservation process. If you wish to add early or late check out after the reservation process, please call or email the day of arrival to see if it is available for your stay.

Activities and volume settings must be contained within your site at all times. Camping should be fun for everyone, even your neighbors. Please be aware that normal speaking voices carry. Children must return to their site by 10pm.
Fur-Friends are welcome to stay with us! However, there are a few rules so all guests can enjoy their stay. They must be leashed and picked up after. They must be accompanied by their master at all times while enjoying nature. Pets must not disturb others. No aggressive pets allowed.
Each of our Cabins and Lodges can accommodate two pets. Please inform us at the time of booking if you will be bringing your pet. An additional $12.50 per night will be added. We kindly ask that all pets are well-behaved. Noisy, vicious, and unruly dogs are not allowed. Dogs must be crated if left alone in a cabin or lodge.
Yurts are NOT pet-friendly.
Each of our campsites can accommodate up to 5 pets. Please inform us at the time of booking if you will be bringing your pet. We kindly ask that all pets are well-behaved. Campsites are designed to accommodate immediate family members only. There is a maximum number of overnight guests per site. Please check the maximum number for your site type during the booking process. Campsites are 6 people. Cabins and lodges range from 4-6 people. All guests, including visitors, must be registered prior to entry at the camp store.
All vehicles are required to register prior to entry. Valid vehicle pass must be visibly displayed in the rearview mirror at all times. Unregistered vehicles may be towed at owners expense.
Facilities in the campground are for registered guests only. Visitors are required to register and pay day use fees at office before entering the park. All visitors must leave by 10pm unless registered as an overnight guest.
Each campsite allows for one (1) RV and one (1) Vehicle. Maximum limit of people per site apply. No tents are allowed on RV sites. Boat/ORV Trailer parking is available during the booking process for $10/per day.

Playgrounds, Rock wall, Slides, and all other activities are provided at your own risk. We strive to follow strict safety guidelines but due to the outdoor rugged nature of camping we ask that you inspect all equipment and activities for safety. Please report any concerns to the office. Do not play on equipment after dark. All playgrounds close at dusk.
Bikes are welcome for on roadway use only during daylight hours. They cannot be rode after dark.
ORVs and ATVs are allowed for egress and ingress only. Please refrain from any in-park only travel. They must stay on roadways at all times as they enter and exit the campground. All vehicles require insurance and licensed drivers. Proof of insurance and driver's license must be presented at security and/or staff upon request. Speed limits apply throughout park.

Smoking/Vaping is allowed at The Higgins Lake Campground but ONLY outdoors at your individual campsites. No smoking/vaping inside your accommodations (lodges, cabins, yurts), in campground bathhouses, facilities and playgrounds, patios, and common area. All buildings are Non-Smoking. Smoking or vaping inside any building will result in a $300 violation fee.
Tents are not allowed on a cabin's spaces. If you wish to set up a tent, tent sites are available nearby.
All accommodations must be left in an orderly fashion with all dishes clean and drying on drying racks, broom swept, and all trash removed and placed in outside dumpster.

Reservations can be altered and moved prior to the cancellation time period. Simply, drop us a line and we will be happy to make the alteration for you.
Need to cancel your reservation?
Reservations can be cancelled with only a 20% cancellation fee up until the cancellation time period. Cancellations can be done 24/7 in your reservation link.
