If you need to cancel your reservation, please cancel through your reservation link located in your confirmation email before the deadlines listed below to receive a refund minus the 20% cancellation fee. Texts, DMs, and postal notification of cancellations are NOT acceptable. You will receive an email confirming your request to cancel. After confirming your request, a cancellation confirmation will be sent via email.
Please note reservation payments made after the following deadlines are non-refundable and the entire payment will be forfeited. Cancellations made after the following deadlines will result in entire payment beings forfeited:
If you will be arriving after 11:59 pm, please notify the campground ahead of time. Failure to notify the campground could result in your site no longer being available.
If you need to change your reservation dates or accommodation type please email the requested change(s) to HigginsLakeCampground@acampfire.com (additional processing fees may apply). Reservation dates cannot be moved if outside of the cancellation period listed above. Price reduction in accommodation types will not be honored to reservation(s) changed outside of the cancellation period.
If you need to change the number of people staying, add/remove a pet(s), or RV details such as length or type, please email us with your changes at

(additional costs may apply). Changes of this nature can be made all the way until arrival/check-in.
